Tip 1)Drink plenty of water!
Make sure that you have at least a glass of water after each and every snack as it will help to cut down on the temptation to snack again, not only lining the stomach with something but also taking away the aftertaste which all too often compels us to eat more of that particular food.
Whenever you do feel hungry make sure you reach for a glass of water first, because you may actually be thirsty! Whenever we are thirsty the brain sends a signal prompting the stomach for any form of hydration and because water is contained in food, the signal often gets garbled in the process.

Tip 2) Eat slowly and enjoy your food!
You will feel full and more satisfied if you take the time to savor your food and chew it slower. Don't get in the habit of eating while standing or eating quickly. Sit down and chew.
Eating slower will help you enjoy your food more, pay attention to what it is you are actually eating and get a better sense of when you are actually full.

Tip 3) Have a big breakfast, the foundation to your day.
Have breakfast like a king, and dinner like a beggar as this will well help you lose those pounds, as the morning is when our blood sugar is at its lowest.
